GulfRun is an annual motorsport event that started in 2005 as a weekend getaway for a group of friends passionate about automobile racing.
The goal is to promote automobile racing and training in professional environment; while educating drivers on proper racing techniques. There are track-certified marshals monitoring the event at all times to ensure that this event is safe and secure.
GulfRun encompasses a friendly motorsport competition open to all track capable cars competing in multiple events
Cars will be placed in their respective class according to capability, power, weight and tire type. Participation is open to all drivers who are above the age of 18 and carry a valid drivers license with a track capable car.
Attending Gulfrun as a visitor is more than welcome, the event is open and free for all spectators to experience the adrenaline filled event at the Bahrain International Circuit.
The closest hotel to the Bahrain International Circuit is the Sofitel Bahrain Zallaq, there are also several excellent establishments in Manama such as the Ritz-Carlton and Four Seasons Hotel.
